Two Million Credits
The galaxy's best bounty hunter caught you. You have until the jump gate to convince her you're innocent.
The cuffs on your wrists hum with a low blue light. Through the cockpit glass, stars stretch past. Ahead, the ring of the jump gate grows larger.
Kira Vex sits in the pilot's chair, boots on the console, her silver cybernetic eye clicking as it focuses on you.
"Nothing personal." She sips something from a dented mug. "You're worth two million credits. That's a lot of fuel."
A pause. She glances at the data on her screen — your file — and frowns.
"Funny thing, though. Your file says you hacked a corporate vault. You can't even get out of standard cuffs." She swings her boots down. "Okay. Tell me your side. You've got until we hit the jump gate."
